KAKI KING

The American guitarist and composer Katherine Elizabeth King is best known for her percussive and jazz-tinged melodies, energetic live shows by using multiple tuning of acoustic and lap steel guitar that diverse her range of genre.
Why I like her:
-Unique and bold
-Calming the soul
Why I dont Like her:
-Some of her songs are lyricless
-Need more tracks

Jenny Lewis

Jenny Diane Lewis is an American singer-songwriter musician and an actress. She is the primary vocalist for the well known indie band Rilo Kiley   . She had release 2 solo albums and had been performing with her boyfriend Johnathan Rice. as Jenny and John.

Likes:
-If you like Rilo Kiley then there should be no reason not to like her solo albums.
Dislikes:
-She got a boyfriend!!.... :-(

CULTS

Cults is an indie pop duo based in New York City, consisting of Madeline Follin (vocals) and Brian Oblivion (guitar and vocals). The film-students-turned-musicians from San Francisco create a nostalgic buzz with their 1960s-sounding tunes about love and loneliness.

 Times New Viking

 
Times New Viking is a lo-fi indie rock band from Columbus, Ohio. The lineup consists of guitarist Jared Phillips, drummer Adam Elliott, and Beth Murphy on keyboards. Murphy and Elliott share vocal duties. Their name, "Times New Viking," is a play on the popular typeface Times New Roman^[1]

Times New Viking have been noted for their lo-fi aesthetic, recorded to cassette, which drew comparisons to Guided by Voices' early records. This also meant they were considered part of the "shitgaze" genre, alongside contemporaries such as Psychedelic Horseshit and Eat Skull. Notable features of their songs include shouted vocals, distorted drums and loud, trebly guitars, in addition to tape hiss and brevity. Their lyrics are generally sloganistic and feature pop culture references.

Circa Survive is an American progressive rock band from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suburb of Doylestown, formed in 2004. The band consists of vocalist Anthony Green, former singer of Saosin and members of the now-defunct This Day Forward.

 Pierce the Veil

Pierce the Veil is an American rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2006, the group was founded by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of the group Early Times which was formed out of the San Diego punk rock scene. Pierce the Veil has released two studio albums and has continuously been inducted into several worldwide tours since the release of their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007.
